BIOGRAPHY
Alessandra Lemoine was born September 14 in Haiti. Her parents Bob V. Lemoine and Ketty-Claire Jean-Louis are well known names among Haitian radio and film industry.Alessandra has herself made a career in the media. She has presented various programs on different television stations in Haiti. On the big screen, she starred in films like "Millionaire by mistake"(Millionnaire par erreur), "VIP", "Isha’s prayer “(La prière d'Isha),” A knock at the door" and "Fall into pieces“(L’automne en mille morceaux.). She starred as Daphne Laurent in the soap opera "VIP" (Vanity, intrigue, passion) broadcast on Radio Metropole for 4 years.Alessandra Lemoine gave her voice to the Creole version of "Haiti my dream, my love"(Haiti mon rêve, mon amour) 34 minutes of a documentary on Haiti made by the artist and internationally renowned photographer Claude St-Rome.Alessandra Lemoine was the first winner of the contest organized by the Tourism Ministry on ecotourism in 2002 with her documentary, "Port-au-Prince, my city." In 1999, Alessandra has co-produced with Deutsche Welle (German Radio), a documentary about children of Haiti: "The future of children in Haiti."Recently, Alessandra has published her first novel: "And the chrysalis became a butterfly! “
