25 year old Clara Luce Lafond was raised in a household of 5 children, where she was the youngest child, with 4 brothers. Clara plans to use her title as Miss Haiti International 2013 to advocate and promote the hidden beauty of Haiti and encourage the world to discover its natural magic. The negative image of Haiti that is often portrayed in the mainstream media, has prompted her to realize the importance of being a role model in bringing a more positive image to her beloved Country. In her free time, Clara enjoys dancing, painting and write short stories about art.
I’m a makeup artist for Zoule Makeup and a natural hairstylist/consultant for Bèltèt Grenn. Getting into pageantry was by pure chance, I’ve always been more into modeling rather than pageantry.
My main objective as Miss Haiti 2013 is to do my best to put Ayiti on the map as an interesting and attractive country. I really want people to discover Ayiti and its undying Magic.
A healthy lifestyle is what I’d say is the key to anyone looking their best. When you take care of every aspect of yourself, be it Mind, Body and Soul, you can’t help but look and feel your best and therefore give your best.
