11/13/2013 – Miami - "Heritage" is the title of the latest installment of Tabou Combo musician, Yvon André, aka Ti Kapi. The CD will be in record stores in December.
“Heritage” CD will have various titles such as: May 18, Trezo Lakay, Brazil in 2014, Lord, I come to you, Chapo m tonbe nan lanmè, Christmas, etc.. Compositions that speak of nationalism, folklore and cultural heritage of Haiti are mainly the gist of the album.
"These songs are genuine, it is for this reason that the title of the CD is Legacy," said Ti Kapi. The rhythms found on this album come from the Haitian diversity of our folklore, he has supported.
Among the musicians who participated in the recording of this album we find the talented guitarist Jimmy Jean Felix, Jorge Luis Sosa, the Ti Wes drummer, bassist Yves Abel Albert, Rixene Ulysses, Carlo Germain, Alain Fleurine, Esther Surprised, Nia Pompilus, etc.
