11/19/2013 Brooklyn, NY - OZONE, the band created by Gary Dider Perez after he left Zenglen has been rehearsing for months and is planning a comeback on the Haitian music scene soon. The band will return with a new record in more than a decade. I've heard some tracks, and I can tell you that it's fresh but also sounds like beautiful Compas well-crafted and sung by the artist.

“We are very conscious of our history as a band making a new record and a comeback. Thinking about our music, what it's meant to us and others. Asking a lot of pertinent questions about the band, what it was, is, and could be in the future”, Gary told vibznation.com

OZONE is back to reinstate the relevance of all Compas groups, and they are already making a very loud noise in Brooklyn.

OZONE dominated Compas culture and and gained loyal followings of thousands of screaming female fans with “Anba Late”, “Kool Cluady” and other popular tunes. With many of the Compas groups breaking up after a few years, OZONE seems to be a fresh crop of musicians ready to burst onto the scene, capturing the attention of a whole new generation of super-fans.
