Patrick Anson is dead
One of music's most decorated Haitian music producers, Patrick Anson, a man who worked with most of haitian artists, passed away tuesday morning at St John Hospital in New York from a heart attack. Anson was a producer who helped bring the Compas music as to a global audience. His Ibo Records, Anson Music and Macaya Records catalogs hover around ten thousands albums, including Ensemble Nemours Jean-Baptiste, Super Ensemble Webert Sicot, Meridionale Des Cayes, Djet X, RAOUL GUILLAUME & son GROUPE. GERARD DUPERVIL, et son SUPER ENSEMBLE, Tabou COmbo, Shupa Shupa, just to name a few.
