BIOGRAPHY

Recording Artist Top Adlerman was born Jean Adler Gaston in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. His start in the music industry as a Ragga/Rap/Kompa artist can be attributed to his love for dancing to Reggae and Hip-Hop music as a young boy in the streets of Haiti. In 1992, Alderman’s group of street dancers known as M.C. Top was discovered by the late Master Dji, the godfather of hip-hop in Haiti and the “Pioneer of the Creole Hip-Hop Movement. Master Dji was influential. in pushing M.C. Top’s freshman ragga/rap album. Top Adlerman recorded two additional group albums before going solo in 2000 with his breakout album, “Tet Yo Sho”, supported by the number one hit “Tet Yo Cho”. The follow-up album “Watcha Krazem” produced a string of hits such as “Ville", “Angel, "Konsole", Kile", “Pwoblem Mwen” and "Bliye Bagay".
